iRise Design was a Charleston based entrepreneur team launching a line for women. The project presented some interesting challenges. The logo for these purse designers needed to be versatile enough to carry on to other products. They were starting with a beautiful line of leather handbags and hoping to move on to other accessories and apparel. The solution I came up with was based on their manufacturing which involved burning designs into the leather for each handbag during construction. I designed a colorful phoenix rising out of the fire inspired by their process. I really enjoyed working on this logo and not having any color limitations.
