Each year CPAC on James Island makes the holiday season fun and festive!
With much thanks to a referral by Jason Kreutner, a client I have worked with for over 20 years both at University of the Lowcountry and Snee Fam Swim Team – I was contacted by Kirk Pfeiffer, of the Charleston Performing Arts Center. He asked me to design some posters for two holiday shows here in Charleston. The shows, Folly Jolly Holiday Hour and Santa‘s Naughty and Nice Burlesque are performed at the Charleston Performing Arts Center on James Island.
Each year CPAC on James Island makes the holiday season fun and festive! “With a dazzling display of dynamic singers and dancers, hundreds of lavish costumes, and nightly appearances of Santa, the Folly Jolly Holiday Hour has everyone singing with cheer! A show is sure to energize the child within us all. Santa appears every night and sings and dances!”
And as Kayln Oyer from the Post and Courier put it – “Holiday parades and tree lightings are one thing, but Charleston also offers some quirkier ways to get into the holiday spirit.” The “Naughty and Nice” show tells the story of Virginia, the Madame of Ceremonies, and her burlesque house. She, along with her “Holy City Harlettes” and “Table Tootsies,” bring to life a bygone era.
Scott and Kirk Pfieffer, the hosts of the shows, needed a quick turn-around on the posters, along with a group of files sized specifically for social media. A fun job with a twist of something different.
